For a good few years, one of the major acoustic guitar builders made a pretty darn cool 8 String Baritone model, with octave strings only on the D and G strings. Unfortunately, they've since been discontinued, as have the strings that were supposed to go on them.

Well, we thought that just because these rare birds were too weird to live as a production model doesn't mean that all the folks who bought one should have to go stringless, so we made a set of strings that's balanced perfectly to bring out the best in your 8-string acoustic.
