We used that classic jazz tone foundation and added some punch. This pickup is voiced a little lower than a traditional jazz, with a hotter output and fuller low end than the original, giving you boom without too much top end sizzle. The hand ground alnico 5 rod magnets, and custom coil wind deliver a warmer, fatter Jazz Bass tone with a lower midrange growl. It is wound RWRP so that it will hum-cancel when used together with the bridge pickup. This pickup is a drop-in neck position replacement for any American Standard Jazz Bass. Pair with the Hot Jazz Bass bridge model for a perfectly balanced, hum-cancelling set. Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA the Hot for Jazz Bass uses hand ground alnico 5 rod magnets, forbon flatwork, and is wax potted for squeal free operation. Comes with black logo cover.
