Hagstrom Krona - Burnt Blood (NEW FOR 2026)

The Hagstrom Krona is a bold new entry in the world of high-performance guitars. Crafted for players who crave sharp attack, thick tone, and cutting-edge design with premium build quality.

Its commanding offset single cutaway body and sculpted German carve top set the tone visually, while the tonal heart of the Krona lies in its choice materials: a mahogany body, Canadian maple top with flame maple veneer, and a Canadian Maple mortise-and-tenon set neck. This rich tonewood blend creates a foundation of warmth, power, and sustain.

At the core of the Krona’s sonic identity are two newly developed Hagstrom pickups, engineered specifically for the Krona: the Agent-X in the neck position delivers full-bodied articulation and clarity, while the Penetrator in the bridge delivers high-output aggression and bite. Both feature AlNiCo 5 magnets, and each tone control activates coil-splitting, offering quick access to single-coil tones when subtlety or sparkle is called for.

A 25.5” scale length enhances articulation and response, while our newly developed CNC-machined solid brass hardtail bridge and string-through-body design delivers massive sustain and tonal depth. The inclusion of stainless steel frets ensures not only extreme durability (lasting many times longer than traditional nickel frets), but also a fast, smooth feel with enhanced tonal precision.

Rounding out the hardware is a set of Hagstrom locking tuners with a 19:1 gear ratio, providing rock-solid tuning stability and rapid string changes, ideal for both stage and the studio.
