NEW ADAM BLACK 15 & 17 SERIES

New Adam Black 15 & 17 Series Guitars

The Adam Black Guitar Company has introduced a new range of acoustic guitar models, our aim was to see how far we could push ourselves with our thinking.

We are please to announce the following new models: O-15, O-15CE, S-15, S-17

We wanted to retain the features that make our guitars so good, but introduce upgrades to make them really stand out:

Dovetail Neck Join
For proper transfer of the tone from the neck to be amplified to the maximum by the body. As an upgrade for the 15 & 17 Series models they have a one piece neck for greater tone and a modern slim neck profile for comfort and super fast playing if you want to.

Scalloped Bracing

Bracing is used to give internal strength to the solid top to protect it from the large forces of string tension at the anchoring point for the strings (the bridge). Using taller, thinner braces and scalloping them (thinning out the individual timbers) means that less of the brace is in contact with the top, allowing for freer vibration. The 15 & 17 series have the thinnest tallest braces we have ever used for greater projection.

Clean crisp looks
We don’t believe in the player having to pay additional costs for unnecessary features, such as ornate inlays and expensive binding. Adam Black guitars come with simple mini dot inlays and herringbone binding (15 & 17 Series). Why would you have something that doesn’t add to the instrument performance and sound? The final lacquer finish has been applied as thin as possible to give as much volume as we can possibly give to an acoustic guitar.

Hardware
The best quality is standard when it comes to hardware. Adam Black Guitar Company has included open back Grover tuners for the 15 & 17 Series as well as introducing the Fishman Prefix Plus T on the Electro Acoustic models. (O15CE & S15CE).

Adam Black Guitar Company is committed to making guitars that sound great are a joy to play and offer must have features that are normally found on expensive and custom instruments.
